SEOGEN Belt
As the first product for my personal SEOGEN brand, I was tasked to create 10 of anything and sell it. I decided to create a belt that comes with two different sized detachable pouches to carry everyday necessities. Each belt is hand sewn, dyed and crafted.
SEOGEN aims to create pieces that can elevate and ease someones life without having to compromise their personal style but rather give them a way to express themselves.

THE ORIGIN
THE ORIGIN
First, I had to develop the design of the pouch and learn the process of using leather.
Second, I visited a leather wholesale store to buy the most affordable veg-tan leather as well as the sewing, dying and hardware used.
Third, Develop the pattern on illustrator to lasercut the veg-tan for accurate and consistent pouches and belts. This took many round of ideation and slight alterations.
Fourth, I had to cut out the pattern for 10 belts and 20 pouches (10 per each size). Then dye and hand sew each one.
Fifth, check each one was consistent and cut out packaging for the belts.
Finally, sell them at make10 !
