The Nori Bag is a modular purse that can transition from a work bag to a going out bag. This bag is meant for the young woman who needs functionality but doesn't want to compromise her style.

The Birkin, the Jackie, the Speedy, the Diana …. all these bags became timeless because of the iconic women who wore them so I decided to have Seogen create a functional, high quality, and affordable bag for my own iconic women: The Modern Working Women.

a bag that can carry her bigger
electronics, food, and wallet to
get her through the day at work.
During her lunch break or after work,
Sadie goes and run errands like groceries,
shopping or personal activities. She
brings a bigger tote-style bag with her to
carry the essentials and carry things she
picks up on the way.

Final branding for IMPACT.
The solution was to design a modular purse that can transition from a larger back to a small hand bag. It provides aesthetics that suit going out or going to work with simple vintage hardware and classic black leather fabric. The modularity allows freedom of user to customize according to their needs. The nori bag makes use of triangular shapes as the form - mimicing a nori roll that one can unwrap in a specific order to eat. Likewise the nori bag can be unraveled for specific uses. I began the process of ideating designs for the modular purse as well as material exploration. I decided on black leather with texture to add a more vintage look.
